Test the 1st Mate™ on an inconspicuous area before using the first time. Use caution when using Tuf Enuf’s® 1st Mate™ on dark- colored boats. If minor scratching occurs, discontinue use. When using Tuf Enuf’s® 1st Mate™ the first time, apply light hand pressure. Apply water frequently if boat is in water or apply Tuf Enuf® and water frequently if boat is out of the water. When finished, rinse Tuf Enuf’s® 1st Mate™ with water and store in a dry place. Tuf Enuf’s® 1st Mate™ will keep cleaning effectively when soiled and frayed. Wax your boat with a soft cloth often to keep the finish looking its best.
